The Mid South Coast Zone Annual General Meeting will be commence at 7:00pm on Monday 25th May in the Boardroom of Bomaderry Bowling Club. Little Athletics NSW CEO, Kerry O’Keefe, and Centre Liaison Officer, Chantelle Grills, will chair this meeting.
There have been two (2) nominations received for the position of Mid South Coast Zone Co-ordinator. They are Matthew Hayes and Howard Vandervord. Both been nominated by the St Georges Basin Centre.
Consequently an election for the position of Zone Co-ordinator is to occur at the Zone AGM. A nominee can only be declared elected if their nomination is approved by the majority of Centres in the Zone. Voting will be by secret ballot and each Centre is entitled to one (1) vote. Centres must be in attendance at the Zone meeting in order to cast a vote.
Centres have been advised to organise a Committee meeting prior to the Zone AGM in order to establish how they would like their representative to vote. Centre representatives do not need to be a Committee member and Centres are welcome to invite as many members as they so desire to attend the Zone AGM.
In order for the election to proceed a quorum is required. A quorum is defined as 50% of Zone Centres plus one (1) additional Centre in attendance.
