State Championships

The 2008-2009 State Championships were held on 20, 21 and 22 March 2009 at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre.  Friday evening competition was included at State Championships for the first time with the last events (High Jump) concluding at 9:30pm.  The program seemed to run smoothly on Saturday and Sunday but it will be interesting to see how the new format was received and whether changes will be made next season.  Congratulations to every athlete that competed at State.  There were some wonderful performances and many of these athletes recorded huge personal bests.
